Appointments to Committees and Outside Bodies

1.0	Purpose of the Report
1.1	To enable appointments to Committees and Outside Bodies to be considered.

2.0         North Yorkshire Health and Wellbeing Board   

2.1         Healthwatch North Yorkshire has been represented on the Board by their Chair, Chris Brackley.  Following his departure, Healthwatch North Yorkshire has nominated  its Chief Executive Officer, Ashley Green, as its representative.

2.2         Dr. Sally Tyrer is the representative of Primary Care on the Board.  Dr. Catherine Dixon has been nominated as the deputy representative.

2.3         It had been previously agreed that the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service represent the Emergency Services on the Board.  The representative is now Jon Foster, Chief Fire Officer, following the departure of Andrew Goldie.

Recommendation  That the Executive recommend to Council the following appointments to the North Yorkshire Health and Wellbeing Board:- a) Ashley Green, Chief Executive Officer, as the representative for Healthwatch North Yorkshire. b) Dr. Catherine Dixon, as the nominated deputy representative for Primary Care. 3.2T  That it be noted that Jon Foster, Chief Fire Officer, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, is now the representative of the Emergency Services.
